While Hillary fights for all Americans, Trump fights for himself

If you work hard and do your part, you and your family should be able to get ahead and stay ahead. That’s what Hillary Clinton’s believes, and that’s why she’ll fight for hard-working families. Donald Trump, on the other hand, has been on the stump touting tax proposals that would only benefit those like himself at the expense of the middle class.

Hillary Clinton’s Bold Economic Agenda

Hillary Clinton has a bold economic agenda that will significantly strengthen the American economy. She believes that we are stronger when we build an economy that works for everyone, not just those at the top.

Hillary has a record of fighting for the middle class:

Hillary has a long history of fighting for middle class Americans, opposing tax cuts for the wealthy, and demanding fiscal responsibility in government. As a senator, she opposed the Bush tax cuts which hurt the middle class by disproportionately benefiting the top 1 percent. She also repeatedly voted to preserve and enhance the Child Tax Credit, and she voted against permanently repealing the Estate Tax. She’ll continue fighting for all Americans in the White House.

Her tax proposals would lift up hardworking families:

Hillary will pay for her economic priorities to lift up the middle class by ensuring the wealthiest Americans and largest corporations pay their fair share. She will enact policies that meet the challenges that hardworking Americans and their families face– improving our policies to match the 21st century. She will work to make sure we have good jobs and a strong education system available in every zip code.

Trump’s Flawed Tax Scheme

Donald Trump is in it for himself, and his tax proposals would only those at the top. Experts on both sides of the aisle agree that Trump’s economic agenda would be disastrous for the economy– benefiting billionaires at the expense of the American families. Trump’s tax plan would add nearly $21 billion to the debt over two decades—endangering critical programs and raising prices for hardworking Americans.

His tax proposals would hurt the middle class:

Trump doubles down on dangerous ideas that favor the wealthiest Americans. He has pushed for repealing the estate tax, which would do nothing to help working families, and if he’s worth as much as he says he is would give the Trump family a $4 billion tax benefit. In fact, by 2025, most of Trump’s tax cuts would go to the wealthiest one percent of Americans. The New York Times published a bombshell piece outlining how he potentially used a “legally dubious” scheme to escape paying tens of millions of dollars in taxes — something Trump himself called “smart.” Time and again, Trump has proven he will do anything to avoid paying his fair share.

Trump is still hiding his tax returns:

Trump is the first major party nominee since in the last 40 years to not release their tax returns. With less than 5 days left in the campaign, Donald Trump needs to come clean to the American people and release his tax returns. What is he hiding?

The choice could not be more clear. We need a president who believes we are stronger together– not someone who wants to help the wealthy at the expense of hard working Americans. We must elect Hillary Clinton and Democrats up and down the ballot on November 8th.
